๐Getting to the Stadium: Lincoln Financial Field
Lincoln Financial Field is in the South Philadelphia Sports Complex, easily reached by SEPTA's Broad Street Line (subway) to NRG station. From Center City, it's a 15-minute ride. From Philadelphia International Airport (PHL), take the Airport Line to Center City, then transfer to the Broad Street Line south โ about 45 minutes total. Driving works but parking is expensive ($30-50) and traffic bottlenecks on Broad Street.
๐ Where to Stay
Center City is the best base โ walkable, full of history, and direct subway to the stadium. Rittenhouse Square is the upscale pocket with the best restaurants. Old City near Independence Hall has boutique hotels and cobblestone streets. South Philly (Passyunk Avenue) is the food neighborhood โ Italian markets, cheesesteaks, and closer to the stadium. Fishtown and Northern Liberties are hip and affordable.

You have to try a cheesesteak. Pat's and Geno's are the tourist spots (open 24 hours, face each other at Passyunk and 9th). Locals prefer Jim's on South Street or John's Roast Pork. Beyond steaks, Reading Terminal Market downtown is a must โ Amish pretzels, DiNic's roast pork sandwiches, and Bassett's ice cream (America's oldest). Passyunk Avenue has some of the best Italian food on the East Coast.

Philadelphia summers are warm and humid. Expect 28-33ยฐC (82-91ยฐF) in June-July. Thunderstorms are common in the afternoons. Lincoln Financial Field is open-air with no roof โ come prepared for sun or rain. Evenings are pleasant for walking around the historic neighborhoods.
