๐Getting to the Stadium: Lumen Field
Lumen Field is right in downtown Seattle, next to Pioneer Square. The Link Light Rail runs from Seattle-Tacoma Airport (SEA) directly to Stadium station โ 40 minutes, $3. One of the easiest airport-to-stadium journeys in the tournament. Walking from downtown hotels takes 10-15 minutes. Driving is unnecessary and parking is scarce ($30-50). The stadium is also near the ferry terminal if you're coming from Bainbridge Island.
๐ Where to Stay
Downtown Seattle and Pioneer Square put you within walking distance of the stadium. Capitol Hill is the nightlife and food district โ 15 minutes by light rail. Belltown is close to Pike Place Market and has good mid-range hotels. Queen Anne has views of the Space Needle. For budget, stay near a light rail station further south โ Beacon Hill and Columbia City have cheaper options and direct train access.

Pike Place Market is a must even if you're not hungry โ watch the fish throwers, grab a pastry at Piroshky Piroshky, and skip the Starbucks line (the original is there but every other one tastes the same). Seattle's seafood is outstanding โ oysters, Dungeness crab, salmon. Try Ivar's Acres of Clams on the waterfront. Capitol Hill has craft cocktail bars and diverse restaurants. Near the stadium, Pioneer Square has solid pub food.
โWeather
Seattle in summer is actually gorgeous. June-July averages 20-26ยฐC (68-79ยฐF) with very little rain. It's the best time to visit. Lumen Field is open-air but you probably won't need rain gear in summer. Bring a light layer for evening matches โ it cools down after sunset. The long daylight hours (sunset at 9pm) mean great light for evening matches.
